The lab is thrilled to welcome Naomi Meyers (Vassar College) as our 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) student, alongside summer volunteer Maham Iqbal (Cornell University). We are excited to have them in the lab for the season!

The lab is thrilled to welcome Jed Stephenson as its first graduate student. Jed is a student in the Neuroscience Program and will be working on the eye morphogenesis project.

Nour “Sini” Shqair 

Completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Syracuse University and will be working to understand how missense variants affect transcription factor complex composition and function.

Aidan Craner

Completed his undergraduate degree in Evolutionary Biology at the University of Rochester and will be working on the eye morphogenesis project.
